Responsible to the Sector General Manager and working within a combination of Primary Health, Secondary Prevention and Self Care framework, the Nurse Manager of the designated Health Services is responsible for the day to day operational management of the Integrated or Primary and Community Healt h Service and emergency care services.
The position is a key influencer in moving GSAHS to integrated health models of care. This position is also responsible for providing an environment that supports learning in addition to a broad range of Nursing & Midwifery matters including:
Professional standards and practice
Practice development
Evidence based practice
Leadership & Management development; and
Workforce and nursing workloads
